Meet mastermind Jessie Hawley, Governor DeWitt Clinton, Boarding House Bess, Immigrant workers, Engineers, Canal Captains and of course, the mule named Sal. Montezuma Swamp fever creates a fanciful hallucination of dancing trees and life-sized mosquitoes. New York State 4th & 7th grade curriculum. Show is approximately one-hour long and casts

    The Musical story of William Tell and the  birth of Switzerland.  Re-live the legend of the Swiss canton people fighting for liberty under the oppressive Hapsburg yoke during the Middle Ages. Evil Governor Gessler's archery exhibition provides a staging challenge and opportunity for an elementary physics lesson! New York State 5th grade curriculum. Two versions available:

The Crazy Adventures of Nellie Bly

 

      Nellie Bly wrote her way to fame through investigative reporting. Posing as an insane person, she had herself committed to an asylum to report on the inhumane conditions. Her articles prompted social reform in the treatment of the mentally ill, as well as immigrants & factory workers. She challenged Jules Vern's "Around the World in 80 Days," and in 1890 was considered to be "The most famous person in the world." Seventy minute show casts 25-54 students.....$85.00
